Beautiful Victim

Beautiful Victim

A Poem by Ciara
"

We are not asking to be raped just because we are women!

"

Beautiful Victim

Purple and green

decorate the fair

Long locks

painted red

Cold and pale

turned to stone

glassy looks

cover the sea

The stench of fear

on the statue

even when

it is past

His evil touch

stole innocents

and now thy lay

cold and black

It's short but that fact does not take away the beauty of your poem.

I love how u take us to the emotions of the woman, giving us a little of how she might have or feels (after?,) the act...would've loved to read a lot more though but this is good.. :)
