I spent several months living in a mental hospital with many other girls my age. When we leave we never see each other again because we weren't allowed to share personal info so its goodbye forever.

Saying Goodbye to Memories

I now have to move forwards

but I can’t leave behind

those I grew to love

in this tough time.

How can I say good bye

to those who have changed me

knowing that this is farewell

Never to meet once I leave

If I said I won’t forget

this would be a lie

sadly memories will fade

but everything will be fine

I know one thing will last

It is the things I’ve learned

Now I’m ready to go

this time I won’t return
