Tonight

Tonight

A Poem by Liderien
"

a poem inspired by the influence of Steel

"

eventide's breath of nebulous saunter

precedent of twilight's tempest birth

demurred of reverence to the coming moon's reign

Lips slightly parted she breathes moments of ambience

aglow of influences of evening's romance cleanses her soul

wine's bliss of unity saturates her senses

imparts kindles of affection to night's loving embrace

flamed to keep reproach of searing memories hence.

Your last line encapsulates the mood of your poem; once a time did exist where the fiends of the night were kept at bay only with a well-tended campfire. And so it is with eveningtime, the glow of sunset can push the reproach of memories hence.

Truly unique write, in your own special lines...
