A Poem by Liderien

To liken a banquet of sustenance

persists but a trifle slight while

mine appetite rebounds in earnest

Frequently inundated by the growl of mine soul

Insatiable the lurk tis of lust

Consume I yet again torment of thine attention

To claim for mine darkened passion

a brief moment while thou indulge mine longing

I may to feel the increase.

Strange how the mind turns to our history in our present. And we - follow the flow, lost in the revery of images we seem to (or actually do) remember. There's the kicker ...though... the sun isn't up at 4 AM... and coffee gets cold just sitting there.

How beautifully you portray that missing emptyness. Been reading Shakespeare? :-)
