you know now that i look at it again, i think that those words were simply capitaliszed because they were the beginnings of new line/sentences even though you didnt use punctuation, which is fine, i hardly ever use it either..

I think that it was default in word. lol! But, there may be something to it, as my father and I have had a very rough relationship. Though this poem is not about him, I suppose my lack of relationship with him truely affects my whole life.

yes ,it is. My fate is directly related to my love life, which is directly related to my relationship with my father. love/hate...but more so pain. And then I ask myself, why am I telling you all this? And I do not know.

maybe because we're writers.. those particular folks who dig for the courage to express their deeper thoughts..

perhaps that others may benefit from having something/someone to relate to and even ourselves in the process

being a parent now for some time.. I'm also starting to realize how i impacted my childrens lives in how i reacted to some of their friend and mate choices.. was i being protective, or over protective/controlling? we are the by product of our mothers and fathers.. as they were too. We have to remember that, and look back as well how they were brought up.. we can gain alot of understanding by looking into the past..

Yes, agreed. I did that early on, looking for the whys. And what I found besides a long history of dysfunctional was sometimes there is no answer to the choices people make. I now how a relationship with my father now that he is getting older and realizes what really mattered in life. Will we be close? no, but I do understand his lack of quality in his fatherhood. Yet despite the answers and the understanding, still the hole remains and the dysfunction of it all. The scars cannot be removed, though they hurt less. Things cannot be undone, unfortunately.
