qeen of my kingdom

qeen of my kingdom

A Poem by Lehlohonolo Lichaba

At first I saw just a glimpse of you,

a vivid image of just the side of your face.

Then again I saw you , this time I saw a complete image of you,

Beauty so pure so real you would pinch your self to see if you not day dreaming.

Finally got a chance to say hello

But with knees trembling I ran out of words so I took my time courage escaped me.

Fate intervened and you sat next to me.

The battle between my heart and the fear began and finally fear concurred

Suddenly I heard a  soothing voice in my ears and you said hello,

For a moment I froze, time stopped I defeated the laws of physics and again, hello you said.

Turned my head to this beautiful creature and again I was lost in your eyes. I saw my future flashing in your eyes. Me and you against the world we were soul mates ,

Reality smacked me so hard I bled I love you .then words evaded me. Without any hesitation you smiled and said I love you more my king

AND THAT'S HOW I KNOW I FELL FOR YOU ALL OVER AGAIN MY QUEEN
