Holiday truthA Poem by Kamari's
Snow falls on the ground
Saint Nick has visited to those who still believe. We gather around accepting gifts in a selfish act. We pretend to like each other for the sake of the holiday Yet i wonder does anybody think of instead of gift giving we should be thanking our savior on his birthday for he died for our sins . We gorge on food as other families starve. We celebrate us as a family yet we only see each other once a year. The kids wait for Santa when he is only a lie. That is the holiday truth no matter how much we spend no matter how much we eat it is a day a day where Christ was born yet some forget that fact. Under the wrapping paper and lights a savior was born yet all we can do is eat till we are full and act as if we like each other and spend a lot of money that should be used for bills. We forget the truth behind Christmas yet it seems hardly anyone else cares and claims I am yet another scrouge. © 2015 Kamari'sReviews
