Holiday truth

Holiday truth

A Poem by Kamari's

Snow falls on the ground
Saint Nick has visited to those who still believe.
We gather around accepting gifts in a selfish act.
We pretend to like each other for the sake of the holiday
Yet i wonder does anybody think of instead of gift giving we should be thanking our savior on his birthday for he died for our sins .
We gorge on food as other families starve.
We celebrate us as a family yet we only see each other once a year.
The kids wait for Santa when he is only a lie.
That is the holiday truth no matter how much we spend no matter how much we eat it is a day a day where Christ was born yet some forget that fact.
Under the wrapping paper and lights a savior was born yet all we can do is eat till we are full and act as if we like each other and spend a lot of money that should be used for bills.
We forget the truth behind Christmas yet it seems hardly anyone else cares and claims I am yet another scrouge.

Skillfully composed with sentimental language and imagery!

Yes I am a push over for imagery
This one is brilliant Kamari. It made all right sounds. But always keep in mind despite their claims that most of the humanity are still animals. Only thing which sure has happened that they have dropped their tails and mind too. But some have understood the true beauty of life like you :)
