Gwendolyn woke up in a strange house , she was confused until she remembered what happened " Elmer!?!?"

Gwendolyn heard footsteps she turned her head to see Elmer at the bottom of a staircase "Gwendolyn how are you feeling?" Gwendolyns head hurt "Where are we?".
Elmer sat in the recliner across from her "We are still at Astrina Graces home she will explain everything ." Gwendolyn was angry until she saw a short young woman walk down the stairs.

Gwendolyn was mesmerized by her , she had short spiky neon purple hair , she wore a Kiss tank top, grey basketball shorts ,and she wore no shoes. The young woman stopped in front of Gwendolyn and looked at her but Gwendolyn was shocked because her eyes simmered .

"You must be the Gypsum girl , I am Astrina Graces welcome to my home ."
Gwendolyn stammered as she spoke "Whats wrong with your eyes?" Astrina smiled "I see in the dark like Reddic ."

Gwendolyn nodded "Elmer said you would explain everything." Astrina nodded "Yes now listen , you are a Gypsum an ancient race that lets their young be raised by shillings to bring the cultures together, you are one of the last of the newborns ."

Gwendolyn blinked in shock "My parents are not my parents." Astrina sat in the armchair beside Elmer "Yes dear, your parents are half human and pixie they didn't tell you of your hereditarige because your races abilities do not come in till the age of eighteen, which I was notified will be in two weeks."

Gwendolyn gulped and brought her legs to her chest "I am not human I am of an almost extinct species?" Astrina nodded Gwendolyn began to cry "Are you two even human ?"

Elmer sat next to her and tried to hug her but she tore away "Well answer me damnit!" Astrina stood up " No I am a witch well half of what Reddic s kind is and a witch and Elmer is a guardian they are winged warriors crafted from the blood of Spartans and Romans."

Gwendolyn screamed " So I'm stuck with nocturnal witch and a winged warrior that was made not born! And I have two people after me when all I wanted to do was party!"

Astrina smiled "Nicholas and Eliza are Berets human soul eaters they wanted you so Eliza could gain her abilities by eating your soul." Gwendolyn sobbed "Why mine?" Astrina sighed "Because your race is almost extinct and ancient your soul even young is old and valuable for it shines a light of hope you race will live on."

Gwendolyn whipped her face "Now what then ?" Astrina grabbed her hand " Well their race is angry we interfering so there will be a war coming my dear girl because , a lot of races think their family has gotten to powerful for their own good and then trying to kill you has only added fuel to the fire."

Gwendolyn sobbed "Are my parents safe , where will I go , will I fight?"
Astrina cupped Gwendolyn s face
"Yes they were taken to their colony , you will stay here I am now your guardian and so is Elmer I will teach you everything you need to know Elmer is here to give you protection, company , and as he always has friendship, you may fight the war will fall in two months you may choose then to fight with us to bring down their family and the tyranny their family has assumed."

Gwendolyn lifted her head " What do I do now?" Astrina looked into her eyes "You will sleep now rest and collect your thoughts ,now get some sleep dear."

Gwendolyn couldn't sleep though all the sudden she felt tired and laid back down on the couch and saw Elmer cover her up with a light blue comforter and lifted her had to put a brown plush pillow under her head.

Gwendolyn sank into the pillow and couch and drifted off to sleep knowing the slumber had been forced on her but right now Gwendolyn did not want to fight it.
