Problem

"

"Uh...we're already in a lot of trouble."

"
"You'll never take me alive!" Scarlett screamed as the police officer locked are cell and walked away. I sighed deeply and ran my hand over my tired eyes. Today probably wasnt my best Sunday, that's a fact, but if Scarlett kept screaming like she was, it would only get much worse. She shook the bars and glared at the man sitting at the desk. He didn't seem to concerned, but I know that if she won't shut up I'm going to kill her myself.

"Just give up!" I yelled. "We'll just have to wait until our parents come us." She stopped and looked down at me. Her face scrunched up into a evil smile.

"Exactly! This might be the only time we get to act like nutcases! We're already in jail," she shrugged. "What else can top this!"

"Uh, no. We're already in a lot of trouble. I don't want to get into anymore trouble." I heard her sigh and she sat down next to me on the bench.

"You're such a goody two shoes, Abby." She said. I rolled my eyes and looked down at my shoes. Things got a little silent and a tiny bit awkward. Being in jail isn't as exciting as it seems. It's quiet, boring, and I'm pretty sure the cop is playing Plants vs Zombies on his phone. Scarlett was being quiet, which is a mind blower in itself. And my brain has gone into a small part of depression. I don't know why we're in jail. It's not like we did something bad....I guess.

I can kinda see what there talking about. We did cover their war in whipped cream and threatened to send in to a bakery. But that's not that bad, right? Scarlett stood again and grabbed onto the metal bars again. She cursed lightly under her breath and sank to the floor.

"Well," she whispered calmly. "I guess with have to wait." I frowned and walked over to my older friend. She looked over to me and smiled.

"Thanks, Abby." She sighed. "I would probably be crying right now, if it werent for you." I looked at her with a disbelieving frown.

"What do you mean?" I asked. She looked into my dark blue eyes and smiled.

"I'm saying, that your my bestest best friend ever. I can't imagine doing something like this without you here." I nodded and looked at my feet again. We sat in silence again and I jumped when I heard someone walking in angrily and yelling my name. Both of our eyes looked to the door to see my mom walking into the office angrily. I grimaced at her angry face.

"Abby Turner, what's the heck were you thinking!?!" I tried to avoid eye contact with her but when she was speaking I couldn't help looking to her.

"W-Well we were-"

"Actually, this was my idea." Scarlett interrupted. I looked over to my friend as she stood and looked at my mom. She looked a little scared at first but held her guard. "We where trying to do something fun before she moved. It just got a little out of hand."

My mom sighed and a small smile fell on her lips. She looked at the cop and turned to look back at us. "I'm going to get you guys out of here. But you're both in big trouble." I sighed and Scarlett sat back down next to me.

"Coolio." She stated.

"Uh, no. We're still in a whole lot of trouble."
