![]() Stuck in a Photo BoothA Poem by Academy6
They're back.
Those pesky $5 bills, Burning a hole in my pocket, Peeking out the pocket it fills. My friends look at me in silence, I know what they think, I head toward the photo booth, Giving them a sly wink. "We can all fit" I encourage them on, Shoving and pushing, Until the curtain is drawn. There was a gluteus maximus, Sticking here and there, There was not enough room, As everyone was aware. But with Alex in my lap, And Jay in my hair, We positioned ourselves, With just enough room to bear. The photos were taken, With giggles and laughter, But our smiles soon faded, With the situation thereafter. We were stuck in a photo booth. "Move your leg! Your bum!" Don't tell this to anyone, We looked kind of dumb. When we finally spilled out, We swore when we were free, We wouldn't speak of this to anyone, So let's keep this between you and me © 2014 Academy6Featured Review
