For the Love of my Soul

This poem is for Kaydence Casarta♡ I love you my darling and I always will . I know this poem doesn't rhyme but it was written from raw emotion..i didn't have time to waste trying to make it rhyme.

Once upon a dream, I was dying
You found me, saved my soul
It was almost too late.
Shy at first, gentle glances
Soft words, beautiful music.
So this is love.

Transcending the barriers of time and space.
Meant to be for all eternity.
Lunar Flowers glow, lighting our road into infinite bliss.
Loving unconditionally.

Darkness beckons, little words whispered in my ear.
Ignoring the pain of the past, shoving it down, distracting myself with Him.
Blackened memories, reeling, twisting, falling.

Stomach sickened, drawing into myself, screaming out against these chains that hold my wings.
I want to be free! She'll hurt him!

Bittersweet days, head pounding.
Losing myself, clawing at these walls.
Defeated, she's too strong.
Sleeping.

Everything crumbles, my beloved is fearful of me.
The me that is not me.
Paranoid, delusional, liar, cheater.
Moon Child, where have you gone ?

Fire and searing pain lances into my soul.
Down, down, down!
Striking into the Indigo depths of my soul.
Waking up, screaming from pain.
Love is lost.

Tearing the walls down, breaking the chains.
Wings flutter, moonlight glittering over their iridescent beauty.
Flying upward, blasting through the darkness.
Not defeated yet.
I will stand up.

Eyes of my soul wide open now.
You saved me twice, beloved.
Through light.
Then through fire.
Metamorphosized, new life, new wings, new hope.
