All Alone

First poem.

 

Trapped, scared, I'm all alone here

Nothing left to trust

Everything to fear.

The one who believed in me

The one who really cared

I recently discovered

Was never really there.

You lied to me

So I would confess

My secrets and truths

You know the rest.

You told everyone

What I trusted only with you

Left me shattered and alone

And laughed at my pain too.

Why I trusted you

Is now hard to see

You left me all alone

Completely empty

I will always love you

Though I'm not sure why

Maybe its because

Only you can make me cry.
