I agree with super villain, it reminds me of a song. Reminds me of that song Paranoid by Garbage. " Love me like, me go ahead and fight me, maim me, blame me, you can never tame me." Simple and to the point without extra fluff good job.

True, it was a bit simple, but putting it to good music might make it greater. Look at what Trent Reznor did with some of his songs. Some of his lyrics could've been written by anyone, but the attitude and music gave it personality and power.

Many ways of describing physical pain, then you close it with one of the most hurtful there is, an emotional AND psychological pain, the feeling of being forsaken. Excellently written.

I think the one that would hurt the most is "forsake me", I guess it is that sense of abandonment and how much that would hurt.

Purely emotional poem and quite chilling.
