You let me go

You let me go

A Poem by Li Solaiman
"

THESIS what happens when Thesis gets in the way. So long, The-One-That-Got-Away.

"
Your voice still lingers in my head
As I lie and roll in bed
You would strum the guitar and sing Skyscraper
Who would have thought we'd turn into strangers?

I think it started way back summer
You said you couldn't do it any longer
I said "I'm sorry I didn't have a clue"
Guess patience was not your strongest virtue

It's half past ten and I'm counting sheep
With questions and countless what if's
I just thought I should let you know
It's you who let me go
