This Feeling

Trying to tell someone you love them is a hard thing to do..

I know of this tiny little feeling

Because I have felt it long before.

And every time I feel your presence,

I feel it grow more and more.

 

Nothing is the same in my eyes.

Everything is now an enormous blur.

You have stopped my fears and cries;

The care you’ve given has been my cure.

 

I’m afraid to express this feeling

For I have been hurt many times.

But you have given me something great;

Something beautiful and divine.

 

I want to show this feeling I have,

But I just don’t know how.

Then you smile that perfect smile,

Making me float in the clouds.

 

This feeling I have is about to burst;

I just want to have you in my arms.

I need you to tell me its okay;

Keep me away from life’s harm.

 

I hope you accept this feeling

Because I’m tired of playing this game.

So let me tell you what I feel for you

And show me that you feel the same.
