The Postmodern Conundrum

The Postmodern Conundrum

A Poem by Katie
"

A joke poem that became explosively popular on Opuss -- oh well.

"
Come, my loves --
Let us sit and sing
Of a world without value!
How evolved!
How loving!'

If you want this world,
My Children,
There's just -
One -
Simple -
Key --

Make your premise
No premise at all
And paint the lenses
Of your world
With scenes
You wish to see.

Who will sing with me?
Let us forget
The words of the past!
(Except:
What we want to remember.)

Author's Note

Katie
Poking fun at deconstructionism. No, it doesn't actually make any sense, but that's postmodernism for you.
