Do they like me?

Do they like me?

A Poem by Lexyeff
"

I have social anxiety and it can be very inhibiting

"
Friends?
What are those?
Do they sprout from the ground and continue to grow?
Can you harvest them during this time of the year?
What does it take to make them appear?
Is it magic?
Who even knows.
I'm getting desperate and it's starting to show.
Do they like me?
Have I got what it takes to make them stay?
Or would they rather run away?
All these doubts in my head begin to shout
There's got to be another route.
Chanting and ranting
I have only one wish that needs granting.
Friendship.

Well I think if one just wander around thinking if people will like us or not then we are doomed.. Better to believe in yourself and confident enough so that you are the one judging them not them you.. I liked reading this.. Made me think.. Good job!

That is well summed up in beautiful words.

Sometimes people are so difficult to understand, I wish you well

About
Hello fellow writers, I normally use writing as an outlet. When I'm going through something I convert it into a metaphorical piece. I've been told it's 'different', but I hope some of you guis.. more..
