unspoken emotions

unspoken emotions

A Poem by Lexyeff

Bind me from reality
Just grant me a slither of unconscious purgatory
Shut me off from my mind
It's sickly
Decaying my surroundings
Through broken eyes I see every crack
In the mirror I plant before myself
Neglecting this fragile frame protection from my rabid tendencies
Useless without possessing the decency to cover up the tracks of my morbid thoughts
How rewarding would it be to feel nothing at all
When breaking skin bridges the path to euphoria
Trickles of maroon signal relief
Lungs depositing less air is idealistic
To harness a wrath that only goes in a single direction
Dazed in my self fulfilled illness
Caving around my contemplations
This archive is enormous
Just because it's dark doesn't mean there's nothing there.

You had me from the first statement.
"Bind me from reality
Just grant me a slither of unconscious purgatory"
You led the reader to a very strong ending with some wisdom.
"Just because it's dark doesn't mean there's nothing there."
Thank you for sharing your outstanding poetry.

Another great piece, I like your style!

- Suicide, how seductive she's portrayed here.

About
Hello fellow writers, I normally use writing as an outlet. When I'm going through something I convert it into a metaphorical piece. I've been told it's 'different', but I hope some of you guis.. more..
