"There Rose Such a Clatter..."

Another poem from my creative writing class. This was one of the poems that had to focus on sound. Hope you enjoy. Jesus loves you <3 :)

Silence.

Then,

The

Drops

Fall

Slowly.

They

Pick up speed

Dropping

One by one by one

Clamoring the roof

The windows, the roads,

Everything experiencing

The hard-hitting pellets of water

On their surfaces.

It slows,

And

Ceases.

One

By one

By

One.
