They Will Worry (pt2)

They Will Worry (pt2)

A Poem by Alexa Tarvid

Swing swing,
Drops wet the chips,
Why must they be so cruel,
First they worry
Now they lock the door,

I wish we didn't exist,
Then I could see the stars,
I wish I could stay here forever,
Watching my breath and the headlights,

Here I am,
But they don't see me,
Maybe something will grow
Where my sorrow falls,
But I fear it's too cold
For any life at all,

The ghost joins me once more,
As cold as it was before,
It swings,
But I do not wish for any company,
Ghost do you not think about my feelings?
How selfish of you,
How selfish of them,

For pretending to worry,
But locking me out again,
So I will stay here,
Making smoke with my breath,
Swing swing,
Swing swing...
