Please,

Please do not leave me alone with my thoughts,

I fear they are not filled with things that make me smile,

Things that make me laugh,

No,

I know they aren't,

 

Its raining,

The pitter patter is calming,

Something constant and soothing,

But the comfort is just not enough,

I keep on singing the same song over and over again,

I put my heart and soul in it each time

Hoping that maybe it will help,

That I will find some comfort in it,

Or maybe I wish to lose my voice,

To keep myself from speaking these words out loud,

I have to call you

But I do not wish to,

Your voice is too familiar,

Was at one time too close to my heart,

But I will not tell you this,

I will not speak these thoughts,

I will say the minimum

And wish you a good night,

 

... Mr. Once Upon a Time

 

You have changed so much,

You do not care like you used to,

You do not think of me the same,

The comfort I once felt when with you

Has turned to an uneasiness and sadness,

You were once my prince charming

But you stole my crown,

And I would never wish it on you,

But you have thrown your own crown away too,

 

... Mr. Pillows

 

I miss you,

I miss your arms around me,

Times have gotten so rocky

And we have moved apart so much,

But when all wishes to shed a tear

I wish for your embrace,

A true friend,

Dear friend,

I miss you,

 

... Mr. Almost Lover

 

You confuse me so,

You love her with all your heart,

So your eyes must be lying

Because you looked at me like that too,

Jealousy is a wretched feeling,

I wish to be rid of it,

But you are every where

And so is she,

I will not share my thoughts though,

Speak these feelings,

I will give you both a warm greeting,

And wish you a great day,

Curses these complex thoughts,

I pray you are different from these,

From these other Mr.'s

And that your heart will be mine,

But until I know you exist,

Until I know this is true,

I will not speak my thoughts,

Share my feelings,

I will pray for you,

Pray to find you

And stay with you,

My exact thoughts and feelings right now. I did not write this for it to be great but merely to get it off my chest. Thoughts can be a heavy burden to bear.
