Knight of Blight

Knight of Blight

A Poem by Lexi

Cold as ice.
Deadly white.
No place nice.
There's always a fight.
So sad, so blue
No longer can I feel.
Faded is happiness's hue
Numb is the new real.

A plastic smile
Can go a mile...
But tonight
Shall come the Knight of Blight
For miss "I'm alright"
Doesn't actually see the light!
Although strive she may,
For a new day.

Stay strong
Sing a song,
Can't last long?
Boy were you wrong

Relief it bore,
Oh her way with gore.
For it isn't lore
What the sharpener is for.

Just a stream
Became a raving ravine.
No longer could she deem
That she was worth savin'.

Biting deep
Release takes its tole.
Slowly it seep,
While the angles's strickenly weep
At watching as her knight delivers-- as he carries out the dole
By bearing her to the hole,
The hole for lost souls
As she finally-- achieved her goal.
