I'm a singer-songwriter too. Evidence thereof is posted in the playlist player on my profile pg., as well as lyric poem postings.

Of course I want to hear this, since you've framed it Verse/Chorus.

It's a strong message -- what an "ouch"! I can't imagine the deceit of thinking of someone else while kissing. I don't think I've EVER done that, even when I was a smart-a*s whippersnapper ;-).

And if this lyric is autobiographical, as it apparently is, it's even more incomprehensible, 'cause if that pic is you, you're adorable, if I may say so with all due respect.

Somewhere I wrote of the "casualties of casualism" -- I guess some testosterone-fuelled young bucks just can't resist seeing what they can get away with. Not just a matter of age, tho'. Callowness is a lack of soul depth.

Anyway, this is a poignant lyric, and I'd love to hear the whole song. If you can upload a recording, then playlist.com makes it easy to post on WritersCafe.
