I gave in to Love (Romance)A Story by Lexie DunhamA girl gives in to her feelings against her better judgement, when the handsome enemy has her choose.‘’Sander, stop!’’ I breathed heavily, trying to get out
of his tight grasp. He had me pushed up against the wall, his stormy grey eyes
fixated on mine. I bit my lip, trying to figure out a way to escape. There was
no denying I was loving this position
and the way he was looking at me, but I was scared. Not of Sander, but of the
way I felt around him. I felt vulnerable, open and that was never good when you
were around a Wesley. Sander Wesley looked down at my lips, which I was still
biting, and his eyes visibly darkened. S**t. ‘’Ava,’’ he breathed, his eyes returning to mine. ‘’Tell
me to stop, if you hate it so much. Tell me you hate me, tell me you hate this. If you really mean it, look me in
the eye and say you don’t want this.’’ My insides churned. No. He wasn’t asking me to do this. I
knew the answer I ought to give, but
I hadn’t thought about the answer I wanted
to give. Somehow I had the feeling it was distinctly different from the
answer I ought to give. ‘’I…’’ I started, looking down. I felt two fingers under
my chin, as Sander firmly raised it so I was looking straight into his eyes. ‘’Look me in the eyes and say it,’’ he almost hissed. His
eyes were storming. Literally. Different clouds of grey seemed to actually
move, showing specks of silver. ‘’I don’t…’’ I swallowed, distracted by the expression in
his eyes. ‘’I…’’ I stammered, trying to pick up my words. ‘’I…’’ Before I knew it, Sander was leaning closer. ‘’Say it,’’
he hissed. ‘’Say you want me to go, say you never want to see me again.’’ ‘’I don’t want that,’’ I breathed, giving in to
everything that had been pulling me
closer to Sander ever since the day I met him. ‘’I don’t want you to leave,
I want this.’’ Sander looked taken aback. I knew he hadn’t been
expecting this. Then his eyes lit up, the storm clouds in his eyes drawing together to a dazzling
shade of silvery grey. He leaned even closer, and I felt his warm breath
passing my lips. I involuntarily sighed, and closed my eyes as his lips finally
reached mine, slowly and tenderly. His arms slipped around my waist, pulling me away from
the wall. I lifted my arms and circled them around his neck, one hand buried in
his hair. He softly bit my lower lip, asking for permission and I teased him a
while longer, keeping my lips together. Then I slowly parted my lips, granting
him entrance. I softly moaned as our tongues entwined and he pressed me closer
to him. I belonged here, I belonged with him, and I didn’t care a damn what
other people thought about it. © 2015 Lexie DunhamAuthor's Note
