Forsaken

Forsaken

A Poem by Lexie James

In the cold, neglected night

A  strange dark figure roams insight

Frosty, ice,  a spec of light

Surrounds an unholy sight

Spinning, whirling

Round and round

Soaring, falling

To the ground

An isolated presence here

Moves around, for us to hear

Lost within a whirl wind hole

Forsaken, pain, a lonely soul
