After 2AM

everyone is asleep and she is alone

what is she to do when she has no one 

2:40 AM 

she cries silently so as not to wake her family

nobody is answering her calls

2:43 AM

cold and shivering she begins to pace around her room

her blood is boiling in her veins 

2:48 AM

she calls again and quietly begs someone to pick up the phone 

silence answers her 

2:57 AM

the power goes out

she can't see in the dark
