A Choice

A Choice

A Poem by Askew

How do I walk such a fine line
Without tipping or tripping?
I fall one way
And I'm enabling bad decisions,
I fall the other
And I become a dictator.
I refuse to become either
But I'm not sure
If the middle ground is stable.
It's one big balancing act
Performed by a klutz.

Unfortunately some of us never out grow the klutzy part. The middle ground is playing it safe. But if you steer off the middle ground every now and then, it becomes harder to find yourself. To play it safe...is to be who others want you to be. It's okay to trip. (just sayin)

Lexi - we all do the best we can. It's not always easy to walk the straight and narrow path. I think the key is to do it as well as you can and not hurt anyone along the way.

Take care - Dave

oh my goodness ..how i can relate to this ..klutzy putz am i ... lots of creative tension felt Lexi .. as the Bible teaches .. the middle way is narrow .. to either side very broad .. and when we are confused to boot ... such vexation i feel ... straight up poetry from a seeker says i! well done! ..
