Writer's BlockA Poem by Askew
When I find it hard to write
I know something is wrong. When the words don't flow from me The way blood once did I know something is loose inside me. It's not the absence of thought or ideas, It's the inability to spill my bloody words. Writer's block isn't a wall I have to break down, But a screw that needs tightening. Something happens - changes, And my brain is rewired To stop the ideas from becoming Proper words on a page.
