Wow. This poem was definitely unexpected and leaves much for interpretation on the meaning behind eac word and the situation of the narrators.

I like the unique duality in this poem, and it was short and sweet, a refreshing thing to see. The structure is incredibly eye-catching and the poem's content is definitely something that I didn't exactly see coming. A wonderful poem to read.

As well, this poem greatly contrasts with your other one you submitted, which really demonstrates your versatility and I can feel the gifted writer behind the screen.

Surely there must be more to love than this. Why go on with this kind of relationship? It seems that there is little, if any, return on the love you give. I feel for you, but then again you must make the final choice.

I never really loved this man, but a lot of the time I told him what he wanted to hear so he wouldn't hurt me as much, even though at the time I did want him to kill me. The red is me in desperation, but the blue is how I truly felt.
