This is well written and captures the imagination.
Welcome to the League of Frauds. I used to write everything on paper. The strokes often identified my mood (too perfect meant I was trying too hard, grooves in the paper meant I was angry.) 99% of my work is now typed. I'm less likely to go off on tangents, and I don't think I lose anything to the coldness of technology. Sometimes, the sound of the keys gets very loud as feedback to frustration. My only regret is when they go silent.
Poetry of a unique and different form! I like the stance you take and the presentation of a beautiful art form. Welcome to the site. You bring a certain new and sweet flavour. Thanks
Leviari;
If you think you're the biggest fraud, you'll have to stand in line...and it's a long line. The basis of any poem is usually an idea jotted in a notebook or roughly scribbled on a piece of paper...and then the work begins...we cut and polish and hopefully remove the flaws and produce a gem.
I can't speak for everyone on this site, but most would probably say what they write...in their opinion...is crap...we write for ourselves and then put it out for others to interpret as they will.
By the way, your last two verses are killer.
You are a writer.

Well you have said it in your words here on the page but you are of course right and wrong. This is a flowing poignant poem in freeverse. The opening stanza is very good and the rest flows as the protagonist reflects on their writing ability. Many good artists strive through self doubt but don't believe it to be true.

Of course I was speaking for myself and my own writing: my main goal is always to write something that's true to me, but inevitably I end up crossing most of my thoughts... so I was wondering, maybe my true self hides in all the mistakes that for various reasons don't make it to the final piece.
Thank you for commenting, I always appreciate your reviews!
I guess ink and paper are my tools to cope with life. I decided it was time to challenge myself and allow my writing to move from my journals to the internet.
