The Cliff

The Cliff

A Poem by Levendy

I stood on the edge of the cliff.
Embracing.
I stood looking at the wonders
on offer.
The Birds singing, from one tree
to another.
I could Never see the Birds
only want their songs.
The trees rocked in the winds
they stood tall, strong,
resting the Birds.
The wind moaned, pushing
itself against everything,
against me
against the wonders.
I stood on the edge of the cliff
embracing the Birds, the trees, the wind.
I wanted to sing with the Birds
stand with the trees.
It`s the wind i feel
Pushing harder now.
