Did you ever taste the rain?

Salty little drops of bliss at the tip of your tongue.

 

Did you ever feel the heavenly shower

Trickle down your thirsty skin?

 

Did you ever bear the weight of soaked clothes

Wrapping your frame so tightly,

It became hard to breathe?

Did you feel the pleasure of sweet suffocation?

 

Did you ever inhale the intoxicating scent of wet hair?

The long strands hanging loosely down your bare back?

Did you feel it tickle your sensitive skin?

 

Were you ever a slave to heaven’s divine downpour?

Did you ever make love to the rain?

I love the rain...and I love Love, so I blended the two together. What do you think?

An amazing write, some of us are used to write about rain when we will in a bad, but this poem has something else to it. It's not that bad to sign/play/dance in the rain, quite the contrary it's the best feeling(if you ask me), great write

An amazing poem, it is good that you wrote about rain in positive way. Usually, some people say that rainy days are making them sad and lonely; plus, they hate it. For me, I love rain, it doesn't make me sad but even happy sometimes. Amazing job, I liked your poem.

oh, i remember those moments of my childhood ~ in my childhood years we love to soak and bathe ourselves in the rain ~ rain is quite common in a tropical country like ours(my hometown) ~ what i don't like is when the rain never stop, then the river overflows... resulting to flood... but that's another topic... i love this work, its has a special touch of love with the rain :)
