empty people

empty people

A Poem by Jasmine Parker.
"

They have nothing to say about anything and everything to say about nothing. But I'd rather everything to say about nothing beacause atleast that's SOMETHING. I'm sure they're pleasant people. But being just pleasant is a waste of human. ARGH.

"

You've asked me

again.

And again.

And again.

What's this that's on your mind?

You're beginning to bore me.

You're beginning to bore me.

This is my song,

my lyrics, my thoughts, my feelings

from me to you.

I don't like you.

Don't touch me,

don't look at me.

Just go,

don't look back,

just go.

Just.

Go.

You.

You're beginning to bore me.

Keep talking

hoping sometime, you're gonna make sense.

Keep talking,

you keep talking.

Talkingtalkingtalking.

Right up to the point where they're JUST WORDS.

They're only words.

So you feel the need to say them with

such

'clarity'?

Conversation's a beautiful thing,

you're killing it, darling.

I know this is said too much,

but I'm falling asleep.

I'm going somewhere else,

where the conversation's WORTH THOUGHT.

Have some thoughts.

Just, anything.

Politics,

love,

sex,

war, ethics,

textlie design,

accounting if you f*****g like!

Throw me rope,

out of your presence would be nice.

Please.

Throw me a rope.

Just, a rope.

wow, I've been on both sides of this letter..never had the heart to send it though....

Hah, I know how that feels. Great poem describing the feeling. It's got harshness, but it also shows that you're an intelligent mind who craves more than the mundane bullshit. Keep feeding that head the good stuff. Props to ya.

Throw me rope,

blunt,energetic and angry.
this poem is alive.
an argument of written verse and a punch of incredible expression.
sometimes with people we are at our loneliest

Brilliant work really loved it! blunt, direct, but flowing simultaeneously, i've gotta say usually the use of capitols really annoys me but you did with style and expression of emotion so serious congrats! Jus generally loved it :)
