Lost Generation: Sonnet

Lost Generation: Sonnet

A Poem by Lethu
"

A deep, conscious poem that some will relate to.

"
Misled by life's variety
Oblivious to our consequences
We indulge sweetly in misery
With the least amount of penitence
On an everlasting endeavor for pleasure
We see not the path that we've chosen
Walking on thorns but we feel no pain
Living life for the moment
I fear that we are lost
And can never be found
Our sins were paid for at a cost
Yet we take God's grace for granted
We strayed on the deadly path
we should seek someone to find us

About
LE-TOO is how my name is pronounced. I had to start off with that because I know it's a little hard on the tongue for some. POET? Or somebody who just rhymes? Writing verses in well structured lines.. more..
