A good man's loss

A good man's loss

A Poem by Lethu

She walked away with him because of

the façade that he displayed,
the lies that he spake and the

empty promices that he made

I was aware of the consequences, she wasn't
I loved her, she despised me
I needed her, she neglected me
I yearned for her, but to her I didn't exist

I came athwart what I've always feared,

the fear of losing what I never had,

I lost a battle before it even started,

I let loose something I could never grasp.

About
LE-TOO is how my name is pronounced. I had to start off with that because I know it's a little hard on the tongue for some. POET? Or somebody who just rhymes? Writing verses in well structured lines.. more..
