A Man of God

A Man of God

A Poem by Lethu

I'll be a Man of God that dares

the devil
I dare him like,
I wish he would
to see if he could
vanquish me
but still I'll stand immovable

like the Statue of Liberty.

I shall live for eternity, for

Jesus Christ resides within me.
I welcome Him and offer

Him tea as I thank Him for carring

our sins on that cross,

what a burden that was,
we could never thank Him enough.
I hack the devil's ego as
I bid him farewell,
for it is in heaven where I shall dwell,

because all with Jesus Christ is well

and forever it will be.

About
LE-TOO is how my name is pronounced. I had to start off with that because I know it's a little hard on the tongue for some. POET? Or somebody who just rhymes? Writing verses in well structured lines.. more..
