Hush

Hush

A Poem by Eslynn

Wrap your arms around me, and lull me to sleep,
sing me a lullaby,
hush, now, hush…

Quiet is the nightmare; a silent scream,
fight away the demons that are chasing me.
I’m building a bed out of hopes and dreams,
but the comfort changes into a coffin,

I’ll suffocate.

Quiet is the nightmare; a silent scream,
when I wake, sing me back to sleep,
hush, now, hush…
