Five Takes From Friday

Five Takes From Friday

A Poem by Letemdangle

It foamed like flagrant tomes derived from yesterdays.

My breath it held mercy death beyond it's peak.

The tiny bit of life convulsed like puking rabbits.
I knew not my keep!

To chew the necks of those for sustenance.
I shut their eyes, bent their hands.
I disfigured until the episode held no  relevance.

The meat was sweet,  the swallow sour.
My head held high,  my soul devoured!

this is great- love when poems make me re-read them several times and think deeply unlike literal poems
