Disintegrating Man

Disintegrating Man

A Poem by Letemdangle

I've felt the tiger's fang upon  my neck.
The bullet chambered with me in mind.
A hammer bludgeoning my opponent to death.

Held and honed my  Knife splits me from you.
Contempt and space delivers sobriety.
I witness your melt upon the Earth.

There is no place , no time, or moment.
We expand, we contract. We fill the void.
My friends, we are celluloid.

Your life, my life, Organic shrapnel to melt away.
We are  like leaves on a walkway.
Burning acid,  until our eyes, Never see.

Can see why you like our Elvis Costello as your poetry reminds me of his take on life with songs like A good year for the roses as both embody love captured within the pain and anquish life throws at us. Maybe the leaves can become the basis of a scrap book of time spent together rather than the death of summer dreams. Love it, keep em' coming

My best achievement in life is never having killed anyone. My nickname is not to make you think I am morbid, I use it as a symbol of injustice. Let him dangle is a song about injustice from Elvis Cos.. more..
