It's my fiftieth birthday,
Not something that bothers me. It does upset my wife. Just found out, She doesn't like it. Got a Notice from Revenue Canada, I owe $35,000 in taxes. They gotta hold on me. My home, I've slaved for is now titled to them. F**k, I worked hard to raise my four boys. Three in university one in college. And soon I'm on the street. I didn't follow the rules, It's hard to explain. I don't like rules, they mess up my brains. I'm fucked, I'm screwed and Revenue tattooed. My wife thinks me old, my kids will suck out what ever is left of me. And my government will leave me cold. Can't complain I suppose, the self employed are predisposed, To failure when governments falter. I knew it would come. I did what I could and kept a stiff chin. But my days are numbered. My independence slumbers. I shall not be, any more! © 2012 LetemdangleReviews
