Wonderful Nothingness

Wonderful Nothingness

A Poem by Peyton Light
"

Meaning

"

An empty glass jar sits on a bar.

A pretty young girl disappears with a twirl.

A blank TV screen does not want to be seen.

You'd only notice these things if you keep your eyes keen.

A ripple in space, a dark, empty place.

Examine the cost that we paid for our loss.

The air that we breathe can always be free,

But inside our hearts, we know we can't be.

man this is deep. very much tells the theme of "dont take things for granted" for me. always keep looking because theres something there that you might not even think twice about.
