One, Two

One, Two

A Poem by Peyton Light
"

A poem about two people who love each other.

"

One spark,

Two flames.

One line,

Two names.

One half of a whole.

Two hearts no longer alone.

One boy, and one girl.

Two different people in this world.

Their passion cannot be kindled,

Nor their love undone.

Their feelings will never dwindle,

For their souls have merged as one.

I agree, the simplicity is of the poem is very symbolic of the bliss of young love; what I wish to have:(
