Society Sucks

Little girls trying to be perfect.

But ask yourself if its really worth it.

Dyeing your hair and coloring your face,

Only covers up what's at the base,

Of your heart and that's what matters.

So stop now before your soul shatters.

We all know that this world is tough.

But when are we going to say that ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!

Children are dying.

And families are cry.

Because society says that if you're not perfect

Than you're not worth it.

Children, Teens, Young Adults.....we ALL have wanted to fit in. But when did it become "cool" to be just like everyone else??
Those mean girls? The jocks? To me they are the losers. But those kids that get pushed into the background just because they dont follow along with everyone else....THEY are the cool one. Because they haven't lost touch with their originality.

Yeah society does seem to be like this, it kinda brainwashes them into thinking they have to look a certain way and act a certain way in order to "fit in." I agree with you, everyone should just be who they are and not have to many worries about trying to be like someone else that doesn't fit their personality. It is better to be loved for who you are than to be loved for who you are not.
