Love is Love

I love her.

She is everything to me.

The thing that makes my world go round.

But I am a girl too.

 

I love him.

He is my heart and soul.

My everything!

But I am a boy too.

 

We get called f*g.

People say that we are wrong for being who we are.

Some people judge us.

Most don't undertsand us.

But we are who we are.

I agree with you we are who we are I'm not gay or what ever people want to call it but i look at all people the same no matter their sexual preference. you love who you love. who am I or anybody else to look down upon or judge someone for loving anybody for that matter race same sex or whatever it maybe but simple minded people do. but they're not great gods to cast judgement on anybody. I say love who you're going to love and be happy in your life you're living, no matter what anybody says not even your loved ones if they love you they'll be happy you're happy. Very nice, very powerful with a great message. There is too much unfair judging going on in this world.

Do not judge WHAT I am; judge WHO I am and WHAT I do. In other words, do not judge me by what I cannot control -- my age, race, color, attractiveness, desire, orientation, etc. Judge me by who I am as a person -- my personality, my compassion, my goals, my dreams, etc -- and judge me by what I do -- how I live my life, the choices I have made, how I treat others, the sacrifices I have made to make or keep others happy, etc.

Love is love. Who are we to judge a love between any two people?

I've had the hardest time with stuff like this because I believe in God, but I do think love is love. And it is pretty much the only thing I disagree with in the Bible:b Oh well, I really do believe love is love. This poem embodies that(: Keep writing!

Perhaps, then, it would help to realize that the Bible was written by man, not God. It has been translated from its original language into English (and other languages) by man, not God. There are several versions, and it has been interpreted and reinterpreted countless times by man, not God.

Who's to say that love has to always be an embodiment of the opposite sex. It's the sexual deviance between the same sexes that raises eyebrows and causes complaints and taunts. Great poem it really shows that love has no boundaries regardless of gender. :)
