In my own little world

Smiling faces are all around me.

People are talking and laughing.

Its like they are in a different world.

I hate them.

 

I walk by at a steady pace.

Nobody seems to notice me.

Its like I am in my own world.

All alone.

 

They all seem happy together.

Why am I the one that has to be alone?

All I have is myself to confide in.

Sadness is my only friend.

 

Oh how I hate them!

Them and their stupid smiles.

'Their annoying laughter.

It makes me sick.

 

They just stand there as I walk by.

Lost in their own little world.

And here I am.

Forever lost in mine.

 

 

 

Author's Note

Its my little sister birthday and here I am writing this damn poem. Alone in my room, sitting in the dark. They are in there laughing and having fun, not even noticing that I am not there. I dont even fit in with my own family...how pathetic
