There’s something calm and serene
About this splendid nature scene
Rolling Hills
Cloudless skies
A treat for my own tired eyes
A different place from whence I’ve come
May not be interesting to some
But, to me this calming and peaceful place
Replaces hurrying with a steadier pace
Drink long and deep from simple living
In small ways life’s always giving
