I can depend on you

To give me a shock surprise

Of a bad mood brewing

A swarm of no name emotions

Creeping like a sneaky tide

One moment placid

Unreadable

The next raging onto the beach

Filling my shoes with uncomfortable sand

Gritty

Rubbing me raw

Unspoken moods

That I am just supposed to unabashedly recognize

Except I do recognize them 

On an unconscious level
