Afternoon Rythm

This poem focuses on how nature is in complete harmony with itself. There is a distinct rhythm to nature and it can be seen, heard, and felt in every element of nature.

Quiet calm streams gently rolling on 

From the light of day until the dark of dawn

Many creatures dwell in the excitement of the day

Adding to the rhythm in every single way

Different kinds of fauna make homes for little fish

Here int he water they have everything they wish 

The light of the sun dances across the water's surface

The creatures of the stream were created for a great purpose

To keep the rhythm flowing is nature's destiny 

TO keep life flowing ever so gently

I wrote this poem back in high school and I admit that it might not be my best piece of work. However, I have been meaning to share it for quite some time! Enjoy!
