The Way I Feel

Living with a learning disability can be frustrating at times.

To describe the way I feel

would be a difficult feat.

I long to belong,

but instead I march to the beat

of my own drum.

NVLD makes it hard to make

connections within myself.

This negatively impacts

my confidence and my health.

If only I had extra eyes

to see the facts that I miss

life certainly be as challenging as this.
