Your MoodA Poem by LeslieNoelYour mood spills upon me when my shadow darkens the doorway. Whenever an unhappy circumstance clouds your vision, you turn from Jekyll to Hyde. I often feel that I must step aside, just to narrowly escape poison sharpened arrows that you glare at me. I will not be the door matt that you tread upon when your mood sprouts seemingly from a single black cloud. I will not scamper and hide like a scared rabbit just because your mood is as dark and dreary as the black depths of a turbid ocean. I am no church mouse hiding in the corner, shivering in fear from the big, black cat swatting with sword-like claws, hoping to catch a meal. I will hold my head high stare straight into your anger-filled eyes and say screw you! © 2019 LeslieNoelReviews
